{Our New Neice: Emma}

We are so excited to have a new little baby in the family........

Meet Miss Emma Grace

Tyler's brother Philip and his fiance Kadie welcomed her into the world on June 21st. She looks like her mom so far and is pretty low key and sweet as can be (also like her mom). I just can't wait to hold her everyday and see how she has changed or hear how she slept.

Garyn also loves her. Melts my heart to see his sweet side.

Evidently, he just wants to smell and touch her soft skin or at least thats what his actions show. He just says he can't wait to hold her when we are on our way to see them.

I think he will be a great big cousin/"brother"

Ansley has been pretty good with her, too. She likes to say "oooo baaa be"

And she wants to touch her.

Sometimes when I hold her, she gets a little stingy and jumps up in my lap, but no major outbreaks.
We can't wait to see them grow up together being so close in age. I hope Ansley doesn't lead her astray!

Uncle Tyler has been excited to see her, too. Although, he seems to be non-chalant about picking her up and carrying her around, like an old pro. He keeps telling me to get my baby fix with Emma......I keep saying whatever, we'll see.

Now, I have been glad to leave her knowing I am not the one having to get up with her through the night! I sure am going to miss her this week while we are at the BEACH!

More updates to come soon!

Magical Memories Part 3

After spending much time in the magic of real life :) I am finally getting back to finishing out our Disney post!
Ok, so Day 4 and 5 were days to return to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios....
I loved getting to talk to Garyn about what area/rides he wanted to go back to....you know where he felt the most magic ;)

(I was talking to get Ansley to smile)
We went to Magic Kindgom on Day 4 and started early! We got there for the early hours and were able to ride and see somethings before it got busy.....
Rode the Dumbo ride. I loved when we all could ride together.

Next we rode the Peter Pan ride, another one we could all ride. I think Garyn liked it better than he thought. If we could have rode it again, we would have.

Ansley liked her ride on Daddy's shoulders while waiting.

We also hit the Fantasmic show early. It was so good and fun.

Garyn wanted to race again in the go carts......

He couldn't reach the pedals but could steer. Cars are his favorite, of course, so I wasn't surprised.

He also wanted to do the Buzz Lightyear ride again.

Tyler enjoyed it, too!
Next, we rode Briar Rabbit's Splash Mountain; Garyn and I did. The whole ride he kept asking when the big drop was coming. But he liked it and I loved squealing with him!

Then we hit up the Swiss Family Robinson Tree house and Pirates of the Carribean Ride.  I was really impressed with this ride. Garyn got a sword as a souvenir.

Winnie the Pooh ride. Again, I liked these that we all could ride. Ansley enjoyed them although it was always hard to keep her sitting down.

We did the Tea cup ride again also and watched a show in front of the palace...

Garyn and Daddy got to shoot some in Frontier Land....

You may notice there are no pictures of Garyn with the characters. The breakfast we had two days before was enough for him! He didn't care one bit to stand in line and see the characters. I'll admit, at times I was bummed about this, but I know Garyn and didn't want to push him or wait in the line! The magic was still there without having to see them up close!

The parades were great, too, to let you see a lot of characters and stay in one spot. Magic Kindgom's night parade was beautiful to look at as well...

Ansley had had enough of looking!
We all were so tired that night! It was our last night in the hotel so we did a little packing and then woke up and packed the car before heading out to Hollywood Studios again.

We actually had planned to go to Sea World on this day but Garyn had missed seeing Lightening McQueen and the cars show. He choose to go back and we liked saving the money of buying the Sea World tickets :)
I want to do Sea World next time when Garyn is bigger and can ride all the rides.

Unfortunately, it was another rainy day....

We watched Beauty and the Beast show in order to get out of the rain for a time.

Both of them really liked it. Can't ever go wrong with a Disney favorite.....

Garyn had no qualms about getting pics made with these guys....

And the car stunt show was right up his alley. Lightening McQueen even showed up!

We were sad to leave but the driving rain helped make it easier (and the fact we were all exhausted!)
The magic was so strong that we have already talked of returning before Ansley turns 3 (that way she will be free ;)

I hope some of you get to experience soon, too!

Magical Memories Part 2

After realizing the magic was completely there. I wanted to make the most of it! I remember thinking about how being positive and noticing the small details of the day made things so much more fun! You know....rather than agonizing over the rain or the unplanned delays. That's a lesson I will carry with me!

Day 3 was Animal Kingdom.

Tyler and I heard it was best to get their early when the lines were low and the animals were out. It opened at 9; we were there at 9:15. With 2 kids, shuttles and lines, I thought we did pretty good! Anyway, there was little to no wait for the Safari ride.

I loved this park more than I thought I would. They did such a good job making everything look so natural. And seeing the animals was great, too.

The buildings were authentic, too.
They also had a dino area with some rides.

Next was lunch at the Rainforest Cafe..

Garyn was a little scared. The storms and animals throughout the meal kept him on the edge of his seat but I was proud that he made it through!

The Lion King, Nemo and It's a Bug's Life shows were next. They were all fantastic especially the Lion King one.

We also rode Mount Everest which I thought was awesome! Garyn didn't want to ride it twice though being scared of the Yeti that was inside so Tyler rode it by himself.

(The ride is in that "mountain" doesn't it look so natural though and pretty)

The Animal Kingdom parade is fun, too....

After the parade, we went back to the room and "rested" for a bit before going for a swim.
Ansley liked the empty drawers......
Guess Violet did, too :)

Garyn liked jumping from bed to bed.

Tyler and I were wore out while the kids wanted to play. Actually, I think he was the only one that took a nap! He was avoiding the picture taking :)

Then it was pool time and some "Old McDonalds" as Garyn still calls it for dinner.

Ansley loved this shallow area around the edge. I couldn't take my hand off of her though!

And this was the first time Garyn jumped into the pool without us even being in there. Usually he is afraid to jump off the side and wants us be right there, but while I was watching Ansley he started jumping in with some other little boys on his own. He isn't swimming yet but can more than reach the 3 ft area as you can tell. He also cracked me up playing with some Hispanic boys. They spoke little English and were talking in Spanish to one another. Next thing I knew, Garyn started jabbering words like he was trying to talk to them!

Well, I think I will stop there since this is a long enough post already! Didn't realize I had so many pics from Day 3!
